Hillary Clinton is a former First Lady of the United States, U.S. Senator, and U.S. Secretary of State. She is the wife of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and has run for President twice, losing in the Democratic primaries in 2008 and in the Electoral College in 2016. 1

Clinton has been implicated in numerous scandals and controversies throughout her career, including Travelgate, Whitewater, Benghazi, improper use of private email servers, and Clinton Foundation conflicts of interest. 5 13 Clinton even “brought Alinsky to Wellesley in 1969 to deliver a speech.”27

Travelgate Scandal

At the beginning of the Clinton administration, “seven people lost their jobs in the office that handles travel arrangements for presidential trips in 1993”5

Insider Dealings

Over a 10-month period in 1978 and ’79, Hillary Clinton made nearly $100,000 from an initial investment of $1,000 trading in cattle futures. 44 Clinton would later vote in favor of the Wall Street rescue package in 2008. 58 and voted in favor of the October 2002 Authorization for the Use of Military Force against Iraq. 62 Even before her first event in Iowa, observers speculated that her focus seemed to be on the general election. 94 107 Forbes estimated their combined net worth in 2015 at $45 million. 107

In 2014, on a book tour leading up to her 2016 presidential campaign, Hillary said that she and her husband were dead broke when they left the White House due to $5 million in legal debts. https://books.google.com/books?id=nIPRBXgzSYEC&pg=PA75&dq=jenkins+the+revolution%27s+ten+years&sig=pHykIbqCtYZgooCX4u723CghENE#v=onepage&q=jenkins%20the%20revolution’s%20ten%20years&f=false
